INVITE YOUR REPRESENTATIVES

Policy-makers from every level are invited to attend. Please invite your school board members, select board members and state representatives.

Below is a sample letter, but you are encouraged to personalize your message as much as possible for full effect.

SAMPLE LETTER/EMAIL:

Dear Representative/Senator/School Board/Selectboard Member,

Six years after our state was locked down to “slow the spread” of Covid-19, Vermonters will finally get the opportunity to share how the restrictions imposed by our local government officials impacted our lives.

Join us at the Vermont statehouse on the evening of Wednesday, March 25th to hear testimony from your constituents. They will be describing how the lockdowns, visitation restrictions, reduced access to healthcare services, face masks, school closures and vaccine requirements affected them and their families.

The hearing offers caring decision-makers the opportunity to listen to personal stories and lessons which have been omitted from of the mainstream media and engage in conversations which were not permitted during the Covid emergency.
